No Planet B: How Honu is reducing plastic landfill
While we know it’s difficult to think about environmental disaster in the midst of a global pandemic, the good news is that there are things we can start doing now to address issues created by plastic landfill. At Honu, our approach to minimising plastic waste is to try to reduce unnecessary plastic packaging and to ensure the products we have that do use plastic are made to be as long-lasting as possible.

We support the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network
Honu is proud to be a supporter of the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network. Seed is Australia’s first Indigenous youth-led climate network. They are building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. Their vision is for a just and sustainable future with strong cultures and communities, powered by renewable energy.

The Story of Honu’s Re-Launch: A backpacker, a mission and Bondi Beach
Honu was founded with a lofty mission: to make surfing and paddle-boarding accessible to everyone. No matter your age, experience-level, background or body-type, Honu wants to create a board that is right for you..

Easy Ways to Reduce Your Environmental Impact at the Beach

It is critical that we all take steps to minimise our impact when we head out to surf, paddle-board, swim or just relax in the sand.
